You can use this traditional guacamole recipe as a dip or a topping. It tastes great and is good for you. Lime juice, ripe avocados, and fresh vegetables all go well together to make a tasty snack or sauce.
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-2 tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeo pepper, seeded and minced optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Take the pits out of the avocados and cut them in half
Then, scoop the flesh into a bowl
Use a fork to mash the avocados until they are as smooth as you like them
Mix well after adding the lime juice
For extra heat, add the minced garlic, chopped onion, diced tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeo
Add salt and pepper to taste and make changes as needed
Put it on tortilla chips right away or use it as a topping for tacos, burritos, or nachos
